Job summary

Visiting Angels in Hanover, PA is seeking compassionate caregivers for a part-time role with opportunities for full-time hours based on demand. You’ll travel to client homes in Hanover and surrounding areas providing companionship and non-medical support.

Responsibilities include reminders for medications, errands, light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care tasks as needed. A valid license and driving means require reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required.
• Positive attitude and proven dependability; communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and needed companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as aiding walking and transfers.
