Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking CAREgivers to deliver compassionate in-home care, promoting comfort, independence, and wellbeing for seniors. You will support daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and companionship in the client’s home.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork with client coordinators, offering a path to meaningful, community-based work with flexible part-time and full-time options.

Qualifications

• Heart for caring and compassionate attitude.
• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts).
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers (hoyer lifts, gait belts).
• Provide homemaking, light housekeeping, meal prep and laundry.
• Offer companionship, reminders for medications, and dementia-related care.
• Run errands and provide transportation as needed.

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
