Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring CAREgivers to provide compassionate in-home support for seniors. Join a team that emphasizes meaningful engagement, safety, and independence in daily living. Qualifications

• Heart for caring and friendly demeanor
• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility

Responsibilities

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep to support independence
• Provide companionship, remind about medications, and assist dementia clients
• Run errands, provide transportation, and support clients as needed

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Reliable Support for Clients: Run errands, provide transportation, and more

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
