Job summary

Almost Family - Central Oregon is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers in Madras, OR to support seniors in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility while ensuring safety and dignity, and you may accompany clients to appointments.

Role requires a valid driver's license, basic caregiving experience, and a background check. The position offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Compassionate heart; ideally with one year of senior care experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing and preparing nutritious meals.
• Document client progress and advocate for health needs.
• Create a warm, safe, and organized living space for clients at home.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home running smoothly.
• Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
