Job summary

7 Stars Helping Hands in Lakeland, FL is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide non-medical support to clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, safe transportation, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills and ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Physically able to lift, assist, and perform light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship through conversation, shared activities, and emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, tidying, etc.).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications (no administering).
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisor or family.
• Follow individualized care plans with attention to dignity, safety, and respect.
• Maintain accurate care notes and communicate clearly with the care team and families.
