Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care of Palm Beach is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship to clients in their own homes in Clearwater and Largo.
The role includes assistance with bathing, grooming, transport, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, with training provided to become certified. A reliable vehicle and a commitment to safety are required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Have reliable form of transportation.
- Must be able to work with male and female clients.
- Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check.
- TB screening proof required; TB skin test available on site.
- We provide all training needed to get certified.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Alzheimer's / Dementia Certification required.
- HIV / AIDS Certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults in their homes.
- Assist with personal care: bathing, toileting, dressing and hygiene.
- Monitor client safety within the home and provide supervision.
- Light housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, trash.
- Ambulation and transferring assistance.
- Transportation assistance for doctor appointments and errands.
- Grocery shopping or online ordering assistance.
- Meal preparation and companionship.
- Support with clients' personal goals and medication reminders.
