Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Clearwater seeks compassionate in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship for clients in their own homes. You will help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a familiar environment.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and medication reminders while maintaining safety and respect for client independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation to client homes and the office.
• Pass a Level II Background Check.
• Proof of a Negative TB Screening; TB test on site if needed.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Alzheimer's/Dementia Certification.
• HIV/AIDS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults in clients' homes.
• Personal care assistance including bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene.
• Monitor client safety within the home and provide supervision.
• Light housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, and trash.
• Assist with ambulation and transferring between positions.
• Transportation assistance to doctor appointments and errands.
• Grocery shopping and online shopping support.
• Meal preparation and dietary support.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and remind on medications.
