Job summary
One You Love Home Care Lakeland is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to older adults and individuals who need assistance remaining safe and comfortable at home. This role offers meaningful part-time work with flexible scheduling and the chance to build trusted relationships with clients and families.
Caregivers support activities of daily living, mobility, meals, hydration, and companionship while following individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Must have current CNA license or Home Health Aide certification.
- Level 2 AHCA background screening/fingerprinting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia training.
- HIV/AIDS training.
- OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens training.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Providing mobility and transfer assistance.
- Preparing meals and encouraging hydration.
- Providing medication reminders
- Completing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with errands and transportation
- Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
- Following client care plans and agency policies
- Observing and reporting changes or concerns to the office
- Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
