ComforCare Portland South is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in West Linn, Oregon. You will provide daily living assistance, personal care, household support, and medication services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a current driver's license, proof of vehicle registration, and valid insurance.
• Must have the ability to accurately follow and process written and verbal instructions.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and interact with clients, client representatives, family members, caregivers, and administrative staff.
• Must adhere to Agency policy and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, and oral hygiene.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises, safe use of equipment and assistive devices, and changing of position.
• Provide assistance with toileting, use of bedpan, commode, or urinal, and incontinent care.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding.
• Provide emotional support and motivation through conversation, encouragement, and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records and reports any abnormalities in client condition.
• Present and conduct yourself in a professional manner according to agency policy and the ComForCare Caregiver Job Description.
