Job summary

Trove Home Care is hiring an In-Home Caregiver (CNA, PCA, HHA preferred) to support clients with non-medical in-home care, companionship, and daily living tasks. Flexible shifts and local team support help caregivers balance work and life.

Responsibilities include mobility support, meal prep, reminders, light housekeeping, and hands-on personal care when needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• At least 6 months caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance required.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation.
• Drive clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Hands-on care including dressing, grooming, feeding, transfers, bathing, and toileting as appropriate.

Our caregivers provide in-home support to clients, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and quality of life. Services range from companionship to non-medical personal care, depending on each client’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

Caregivers assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as:

• Driving clients to appointments or errands
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
• Performing light housekeeping tasks

Caregivers with appropriate certifications (CNA, PCA, HHA) may also provide hands-on personal care, including:

• Assistance with dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with feeding
• Mobility and ambulation support
• Bathing assistance
• Transfers (bed/chair)
• Toileting and incontinence care
