Job summary

VillageCaregiving is seeking an In-Home Caregiver in the Wykoff area for a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. The role runs Mon-Thu from 10am to 12:45pm, offering an hourly wage starting at $18–$22 with daily pay, a flexible schedule, and training.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, medications reminders, light housekeeping, and coordinating with caregivers and family.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or CNA license is required.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with physical therapy and exercises.
• Accompany clients shopping or complete shopping for them as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Personal Care Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Personal Care Assistant REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous caregiver experience or CNA license

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
