Job summary

VillageCaregiving is looking for passionate In-Home Caregivers to join our growing team in the Wykoff area. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time in the local community.

Mon-Thurs 10am-12:45pm. Wage starts at $18–$22 per hour, with daily pay option and flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include medication reminders, personal care, light housekeeping, and supporting therapy and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or CNA license is required.
• Current CPR certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany them when they shop as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals as required.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family.
• Report unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Personal Care Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Personal Care Assistant REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous caregiver experience or CNA license
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
