Job summary

VillageCaregiving in Minnesota is seeking passionate In-Home Caregivers for a part-time role in the Wykoff area. The schedule is Mon-Thurs, 10am-12:45pm, with the opportunity to become full-time as the team grows.

The caregiver will remind clients to take prescribed medications, assist with personal care and hygiene, help with prescribed exercises, shop for essentials, prepare meals, and perform light housekeeping. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or CNA license.
• Current CPR certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.

• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.

• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
