Visiting Angels Olympia is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in Thurston County. We offer meaningful work with real benefits, including health insurance and retirement matching. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour with shift differentials and paid training.

Qualifications

• Current HCA or CNA license (or willingness to complete training within 120 days and obtain certification within the state-required timeframe—we'll help you through the process)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Weekend availability during your first 90 days
• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours/weekly
• Able to perform the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 25 lbs, assisting with transfers, and standing/walking for extended periods
• Smartphone and email address required
• English fluency (spoken and written)
• A genuine desire to help seniors live safely and comfortably at home

Responsibilities

• You'll provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes throughout Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and surrounding areas.
• Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
• Assist veterans and others, supporting safe, comfortable living at home.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Starting pay: $20-$26/hour- No license yet? Start at $20/hr—we'll help you get certified- Already have your HCA or CNA? Start at $21/hr- Shift differentials boost pay up to $26/hr- Training and travel time between clients paid at $17.25/hr. We schedule thoughtfully to minimize drive time between shifts.

What you'll do
