Job summary

Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned service dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our caregivers work one-on-one to assist with personal hygiene, meals, companionship, and daily living tasks.

We seek dedicated, energetic, and ethical caregivers who can work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and who have at least 1 year of relevant experience along with a valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work nights and/or weekends.
• Strong compassion and supportive demeanor.
• Willingness to enforce safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly or recovering clients, including showering, dressing, and eating.
• Assist clients with prescribed medications and mobility.
• Aid mobility around the home and to appointments as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them on errands.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and related tasks.

Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional caregivers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of tasks, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutrition, and much more. We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and ethical caregivers to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors' appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
• Willingness to enforce safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a caregiver.
