Job summary

Safe and Sound Home Care is seeking a Private Duty Caregiver to provide focused, one-on-one care for elderly and disabled clients in their homes. You will assist with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities in a compassionate, supportive manner.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliability, and willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Prior in-home care experience is preferred, with emphasis on high-quality, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including doctors' appointments, walks, and other activities.
• Plan and prepare meals, complete client shopping, and accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living, such as assisting patients with meal preparation, serving, and other tasks.
