Village Caregiving is seeking caring caregivers in Sparta, KY to support clients at home. Immediate hours, paid training, and flexible schedules available to fit part-time or full-time needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications, mobility, and daily living activities, while ensuring safety and compassionate care. Daily pay and a comprehensive benefits approach help support dedicated caregivers in our community.

Qualifikationen

• Must have compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with families and clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR certification preferred.

• Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
• Help clients take prescribed medications and attend appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary awareness.
• Monitor client condition, report changes to caregivers and family.
• Provide emergency responsiveness and supportive companionship.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
