Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate Caregivers in Carrollton, KY to provide in-home support and companion care. Immediate hours available with paid training and Daily Pay options.

You will assist clients with medications, mobility, personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and errands, while reporting changes to nurses and family. CPR certification and a high school diploma are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety, communication, and empathy.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiver experience is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to perform required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
