Job summary

Village Caregiving in Warsaw/Sparta, KY is hiring Caregivers for part-time and full-time hours immediately. Paid training is provided and Daily Pay is available.

Responsibilities include helping with medications, mobility, personal care, light housekeeping, transportation and reporting to nurses and family. Must have CPR certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior caregiver experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• CPR (American Heart Association) certification is required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication

REQUIREMENTS
