Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate caregivers for South St. Paul and surrounding areas, including Inver Grove Heights and Eagan. Shifts range from 4–8 hours, with day and evening options.

We offer flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to work when schools are in session. Essential duties include assisting with ADLs, administering medications, mobility support, companionship, light housekeeping, and driving clients to events.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver or nursing assistance training.
• Ability to pass background and drug/mvr checks and TB screening.
• Valid driver’s license with mileage reimbursement willingness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Drive clients to appointments and activities.
• Document tasks and view care plans on smartphone apps.

We are seeking compassionate and friendly individuals to join our team as Caregivers in South St. Paul and surrounding areas such as Inver Grove Heights, and Eagan. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.

We are urgently seeking caregivers in the South Metro for day and evening shifts. Shifts may be 4-8 hours in length.

Also, we're seeking caregivers who'd like to work when their children return to school! We're seeking applicants who can work 4 hour-shifts between the hours of 9am and 3 pm.

Essential Duties:

• Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assistwith mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assistwith meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed
• Utilize your smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emails

• $21.00 - $23.00/hour on Friday thru Sunday

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U. S.
• Experience as a caregiver for adults or nursingassistancetraining (or equivalent)
• Have a valid Driver’s License and an active Auto Insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screening
• Willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportation with mileage reimbursement
• Willing to do personal cares for both males and females
• Ableto lift 25 pounds and transfer clients
• Ability to read,comprehend, and clearly speak English
• Possess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails,downloadingand using Apps, and completing online training
• Able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
• High moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Engage clients in activities of interest
• Follow care plans and accurately document tasks
• If wecan’tfind shifts nearby your home, be willing to drive up to 25 miles to a shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in assisted living, in-home care, long-term care,or nursing home
• Dementia careand medication administration experience
• Skilled in personal cares such as bathing/showering/sponge baths, gait belt/transfers, toileting assistance, dressing/grooming
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with client rights and home care practices
