Job summary

Right at Home SLC is hiring part-time Caregivers to help seniors and adults with disabilities stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Salt Lake City area.

You will provide one-on-one care, including companionship, assistance with hygiene and mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders, while building meaningful connections that foster well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and car.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral care (preferred).
• Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Responsibilities

Position: Caregiver

As a caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one care that matters every day. Your responsibilities will include offering companionship and emotional support, assisting with hygiene and mobility, preparing meals and light housekeeping, providing transportation to appointments or outings, giving medication reminders, and building meaningful connections that foster well-being.

Benefits That Value You

• Competitive pay: $17.00-$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification) Minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
• Raises after 60 days + annual reviews
• Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week + required documents completed)
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits
