Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is hiring compassionate caregivers to join a supportive team that values safety, independence, and dignity for clients at home or in facilities. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily activities, prepare meals, manage light housework, and help clients stay active and connected.

Previous caregiving experience is preferred; background checks are required; travel to client homes is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Applicants must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with walking, transfers, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands or transportation when assigned.
• Encourage clients to remain active and independent.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Complete accurate care documentation.
• Provide other non-medical assistance outlined in the client’s care plan.
