Right at Home Torrance is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping in clients' homes. You will support seniors and vulnerable adults to maintain independence, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, errands, and medication reminders, while also delivering compassionate companionship in a respectful, supportive environment.

Competenze

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must live in or near South Bay area.
• Pass a background check.
• TB test within the last year (90 days if newly registered as HCA).

Mansioni

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Perform housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms).
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities like reading, music, puzzles.

Job Summary:

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide personal care activities, companionship, and light housekeeping services to our clients in their own homes. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, shaving, and grooming

• Perform housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the bathroom

• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments

• Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, music, puzzles, and more

• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and dementia care

• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management

Qualifications and Skills:

• Home Care Aide Registered with DPSS

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job

• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance

• Pass a background check

• Recent TB within the last year (within 90 days if newly registered as HCA)

• Must live in or near South Bay area
