Job summary

Right at Home Torrance is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care, while building strong client relationships.

The role includes documenting care, collaborating with families, and participating in paid training to grow skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold CA Home Care Aide (HCA) license issued by the CA Dept. of Social Services.
• TB test current within 90 days if newly licensed or within 2 years if working for another agency.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• 18 years or older.
• Able to speak and read English.
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
• Must live in or near the South Bay area.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes (companion care, light housekeeping, meal prep, personal care).
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided.
• Collaborate with clients, families and other caregivers to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in paid training and development programs.
