Job summary

Pathways for Life in Arizona near Peoria, Glendale, Surprise and Waddell is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in in-home and community settings. You will help with daily living activities, safety and dignity, and build trusting relationships with clients and families.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Article 9 Certificate is required.
• PROUD (Prevention & Support) training is required.
• Abuse & Neglect Training is required.
• DCW (Principles of Caregiving) training is required.

Responsibilities

• Support members with daily routines and activities.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meals and personal hygiene tasks.
• Build meaningful connections through respectful, engaging interactions.
• Implement behavior support strategies to address challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Advocate for member safety and uphold rights and dignity.
