Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Elk Grove, CA is seeking experienced Professional Caregivers to join our team immediately. Starting pay is $17–$20 per hour, DOE, with flexible schedules and opportunities to grow.

As a Comfort Keeper, you deliver non-medical in-home care, build rapport with seniors and families, assist with daily tasks, accompany visits to stores and appointments, and help maintain a safe, friendly home environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle required.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED. PCA/HHA/CNA license or 6 months caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their homes.
• Establish open communication with seniors and families.
• Assist with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization.
• Accompany seniors to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits.
• Organize transportation, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage activity and movement.
• Maintain a trusting, comfortable home environment.

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• PCA, HHA, or CNA license or 6 months of Professional Caregiver experience (preferred but not required)
• Open availability a Plus!
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record and Pre-Employment Drug Screening
