Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds.
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle needed; travel within 30 miles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Provide patient observation and monitor changes in health or behavior.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support for mental well-being.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Provide patient observation and monitor for any changes in health or behavior, especially for clients with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Help with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and engagement.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Support clients during outings or appointments by providing personal transportation assistance.

  • Personal reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and driver's license required
  • Live in and willing to travel within 30 miles of their home in Madison County, IL
  • Ability to use basic technology (Cell phone apps) to be able to provide reports through our electronic system
