Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when required for business travel.
• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transferring patients from bed to chair, wheelchair, or toilet.
• Assists with household tasks directly related to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patients' needs.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Good time management, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
