Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide in-home health care as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You will travel to patients' homes, delivering compassionate, holistic care and building meaningful relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough home health assessments and personalize care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients per plan of care and preferred hours.
• Monitor patient symptoms and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate with case managers and collaborating physicians.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
