Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks dedicated Registered Nurses to join as in-home health care RNs in a flexible, independent contractor capacity. You will perform comprehensive home visits, document care in the EMR, and collaborate with case managers to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessments, patient and family education, ADL support, and timely reporting of any changes in health.

Qualifications

• Valid active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to provide personalized, comprehensive home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate with patients on schedule and plan of care.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with case managers and physicians for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, compassionate patient records in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
