Job summary
Florry Creative Care Corporation in Bartow and Lakeland, FL is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care, personal care, companionship, light housekeeping and respite support. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid CNA/HHA certification, and are comfortable working in clients' homes.
A Level II background check, TB test, and reliable transportation are required; bilingual skills are a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of documented experience as a Home Health Aide or CNA.
- Current and valid CNA or HHA certification.
- Background check conducted per Federal and State regulations (Level II).
- TB test negative.
- Health screening: free from communicable diseases.
- Reliable transportation to client homes.
- Bilingual skills are a plus (specify languages).
- Compassion, empathy and respect for clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer and assist with mobility.
Responsibilities
- Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
- Homemaking: light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Companionship: social interaction and engagement in activities.
- Respite care: support for primary caregivers.
- Observe and report changes to the care team.
- Maintain a clean and safe client home.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
