Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Dayton, TN is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our team. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, daily & weekly pay options, and the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of quality home care while supporting seniors and people with disabilities to live independently.

As an Addus CNA you’ll follow care plans, assist with personal care, housekeeping and meals, transport clients to appointments, and monitor health changes, with safety and wellbeing foremost.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year in-home care services experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
