Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking Attendant Care Employees (ACE) for per diem openings in Pembroke, NH. You will support consumers to maintain independence with compassionate in-home care.

Flexible, consumer-driven schedules of 6–10 hours per week, with duties ranging from daily living assistance to light housekeeping and medication reminders. This per diem role offers meaningful work with a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• LNA license not required.
• High school diploma not required.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
