Job summary

Optum's Almost Family Personal Care division is hiring a Home and Community Based Services Aide to help clients stay safely in their own homes. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support household tasks in a compassionate, respectful manner.

Responsibilities include monitoring client condition, taking vital signs, documenting care using EVV, and ensuring a safe environment. The role offers hourly pay and a path to growth within a large healthcare family.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
