Lake Barrington is seeking a compassionate Homemaker / Home Care Aide to support clients in their own homes, helping with daily tasks and ensuring safety and independence. You will work as part of a caring team that values your contribution and offers growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship, while following each client’s care plan and reporting any changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required.
• Must pass agency exam with a score of 75% or higher.
• Must be in good physical health and able to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal planning and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping duties: make beds, dust, vacuum, clean kitchens/bathrooms, laundry.
• Assist with errands and shopping per care plan.
• Escort clients to appointments and activities as specified.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plan and agency policies; document daily activities and hours.
