Job summary

One You Love Homecare Barrington is actively seeking a compassionate caregiver to support clients in their homes with non-medical assistance, companionship, and daily living activities. You will help with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring client safety, reporting any changes in condition, following care plans, and maintaining infection control practices while delivering respectful, client-centered care

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
