Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) is seeking a Behavior Technician to begin training toward Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in New Jersey. The role offers direct ABA-based therapy to autistic children in homes, schools and ELCs, with a clear path to professional development.

Your early responsibilities focus on delivering high-quality support while completing required RBT coursework and gaining hands-on experience within our dedicated ABA team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and ability to engage ASD populations.
• Commitment to completing RBT training program and 40 hours of online coursework.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA-based behavioral therapy to children with ASD in home, school or ELC settings.
• Support and implement ABA goals under supervision, track progress, and document sessions.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to facilitate learning and generalization of skills.
