Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA seeks multiple Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-to-one behavior intervention in home and community settings. Entry to mid-level candidates with passion for working with individuals with special needs are encouraged to apply.

Comprehensive training is provided and supervision is available from a BCBA. Positions open Part Time and Full Time; flexible scheduling and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• RBT certification preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience with children/adults with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and mobility.
• Collect and document data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
