Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services is seeking an In-Home Behavior Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families under the Family Support Services grant. You will provide in-home behavioral services, including testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavior plans, and train family members in strategies.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, direct community impact, and collaboration with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver's License and personal transportation.
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-home behavioral services, including testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans and goals.
• Providing education and training to family members regarding behavioral strategies.
• Serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities through a 100% state funded Family Support Services grant program.
• This position supports families and serves as a resource for relatives.
