Catholic Charities Disabilities Services is seeking an In-Home Behavior Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and families. The role focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaborative planning to improve daily outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver’s License and personal transportation.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work
• A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

Responsibilities

• Serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities through a 100% state funded Family Support Services grant program
• Providing in home behavioral service, including testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans and goals as required by the needs of the individual being served
• Providing education and training to family members regarding behavioral strategies
• This position was designed to be of service not only to individuals in need who are living at home, but also to serve as a support for their family members

In-Home Behavior Specialist Minimum Salary: $48.86/hour *additional rates include $16.00/hour training and $25/hour drive-time*

In-Home Behavior Specialist Maximum Salary: $48.86/hour *additional rates include $16.00/hour training and $25/hour drive-time*

In-Home Behavior Specialist Schedule: Flexible scheduling; approximately 5 hours per week
