Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians for in-home, one-on-one ABA services with children from birth to age 21. The role emphasizes working under BCBA supervision in a home setting, with flexible part-time/evening/afternoon hours.

You will participate in training, support treatment plans, and collaborate with families to deliver life-changing interventions. Strong communication and reliability are essential, and compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old.
