Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking contractors to assemble ready-to-assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes, including indoor/outdoor items and fitness gear.

This is a contract (1099) role with earnings potential of 40K–100K+ depending on volume, location, and accepted work. Contractors must have reliable transportation, own hand and power tools, an EIN, insurance, and be able to pass background and MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to travel to order locations.
• Own hand and power tools and ability to build products to manufacturer specs.
• Must have EIN (federal tax ID). Obtainable at irs.gov.
• Must comply with insurance, vehicle registrations.
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Comply with state vehicle laws for the vehicle used.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors.
• MVR checks are performed for all driving contractors.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service; be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ready-to-assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes.
• Select product types to install/assemble based on preference, seasonality and availability.
• Contractors servicing both indoor and outdoor items will have more work.

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment - involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

**Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
