Job summary

AIT Home Delivery is seeking independent contractors (1099) to assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes. Contractors may choose preferred product types and will receive work based on availability, including both indoor and outdoor installations.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, hand and power tools, and the ability to follow manufacturer specifications. Background and drug screens are required for all contractors.

Qualifications

• Must have hand and power tools and the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
• Be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers.
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors.
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ready-to-assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes.
• Contractors can pick product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year; availability varies.
• Attend to both indoor and outdoor installations to maximize work opportunities.

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment- involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
• Must have hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
