Top Score Education is hiring a part-time AP Calculus Tutor to deliver 1-on-1 in-home tutoring in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia. Sessions occur after school (4-10 PM) and on weekends, offering flexible hours to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities include delivering 90-minute private sessions for AP Calculus AB and BC, creating customized lesson plans, and tracking student progress with families and the Top Score team. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring AP Calculus AB/BC.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications in math/education preferred.
• Current or former high school teachers or graduate students pursuing advanced math degrees are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 90-minute private, in-home tutoring sessions for AP Calculus AB and/or BC.
• Create customized lesson plans addressing student needs and goals.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents and students to build trust.
• Collaborate with Top Score team to track progress and refine strategies.
• Provide academic guidance to build confidence and exam readiness.
