Top Score Education Inc. is seeking a part-time AP Calculus Tutor to deliver 1-on-1 in-home tutoring in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia. Sessions run after school and on weekends, with flexible hours from 4-10 PM.

90-minute sessions focus on AP Calculus AB/BC, travel up to 30 minutes, and regular parent communication. The ideal candidate has proven AP Calculus teaching experience, plus a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC.
• Current or former high school teachers or grad students pursuing math advanced degrees preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
• Strong organization, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 90-minute private, in-home tutoring sessions for AP Calculus AB and BC.
• Create customized lesson plans addressing individual goals.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and students.
• Collaborate with Team Top Score to track progress and adjust strategies.
• Provide guidance to build student confidence for AP exams.
