Job summary

Advancing Beyond the Spectrum in Abingdon, MD is seeking a part-time ABA Therapist to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings. You’ll implement approved treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families and the BCBA to achieve meaningful progress for children with Autism and related disabilities.

You will also provide progress updates, assist with parent training, and maintain HIPAA compliance while contributing to a supportive, team-based clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, healthcare, education, or related fields preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current RBT certification, or within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification, or within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks required.
• Experience in in-home settings preferred.
• English fluency required; bilingual preferred.
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
• Willingness to receive constructive feedback and grow.
• Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community-based environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding client progress.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and BACB Ethics at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
