Job summary

Easterseals Southern California seeks a Behavior Interventionist to provide in-home ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will observe, assess and engage with participants during visits, with emphasis on safety and data collection.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children and experience with those who have special needs or behavioral health interests.
• Available to work afternoons/early evenings and some weekend mornings.
• Must have own reliable transportation, valid driver's license, auto registration and adequate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions for children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess and interact with participants during visits.
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and setup of toys and materials for home visits; frequent walking and bending.
• Adhere to training schedule and complete initial 2-week training (M–F, ~35 hours).
