Job summary

One Step Forward is hiring a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist) to work with a learner in their home in Lavallette, New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with the learner on a consistent weekly schedule, with a BCBA providing ongoing supervision and support.

The role focuses on in-home ABA therapy, implementing individualized programs and helping the learner develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills using evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• ABA or RBT experience is a plus.
• Dependable, patient and professional attitude required.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions and a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the learner's home.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs developed by a BCBA.
• Help build communication, social, play and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based strategies, including reinforcement and prompting.
• Collect accurate session data and complete electronic documentation.
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA.
