Job summary

Total Care ABA in Chilhowie, VA is hiring Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and in-school ABA therapy under supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll help children build communication, social, play, and daily living skills; paid training is provided, with flexible schedules and local travel to client homes and community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel locally to client homes and schools.
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school settings under BCBA supervision.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Collect and accurately record client progress data.
• Encourage positive behaviors through evidence-based interventions.
• Partner with families and clinical team members to support each child’s success.
• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate milestones.
