Job summary

Autonomous Behavior Solutions is seeking a dedicated behavior technician to deliver in-home and school-based ABA services in the Long Beach, Lakewood, and surrounding LA County areas. You will implement plans, collect data, and work closely with families and the clinical team to promote progress for children with autism and related disorders.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred), access to reliable transportation, and RBT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates or higher preferred.
• Must be available 15–20 hours per week for part-time or 30–35 hours per week for full-time.
• Must live near Long Beach/South Bay/LA County area.
• Must obtain RBT certification.
• 1 year working with children with special needs preferred.
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass TB test and background checks (DOJ and FBI).
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans created by BCBA and supervisors.
• Support clients and families to meet behavioral program goals.
• Implement goals to help child reach potential.
• Collect, report, and maintain data on progress.
• Provide feedback to clinical team to support growth.
• Participate in ongoing training.
